Review on DEWALT DWE46152 Surface Grinding Shroud by Elmito Yeager

Worked fantastic for me. Used it on dwe402. It looks like it will work with any DeWalt grinder that has a nose that has a guard going around it that has notches around it and a grooved ring on the end. The guard sits in this groove, I had to adjust it to line up the grooves, it then slides into the groove and counts again to lock and tighten the screw clamp. Just like the guard the crusher came with. I used a commonly purchased DeWalt concrete grinding wheel mounted on a back grinder. When you use it for the first time, you will think that the protection is too big. It's not like this. Push down and you can actually feel the suction sucking it down a bit, then apply gentle pressure and you're sanding dust-free. I didn't even have to use a fan to blow off the dust, or even close doors or hang plastic. There was just no dust. The yellow part of the protective cover can be unlocked and slid aside, allowing you to rub on a flat surface, for example, when you need to rub the floor against a wall. I was weary of the prize at first, but I would have redeemed it in a heartbeat. If this one breaks at some point, I don't hesitate to replace it for future use. I've used it with a large rigid shop vacuum, a DeWalt quick connect adapter and a DeWalt shop vacuum adapter.
