They are cheap but work worse than better and more expensive TSA locks. I didn't buy them for luggage, I bought them to play with. Installation wasn't easy, as the silver pin you plug in at the bottom often didn't fully disengage when you let go. If you don't notice and then move the numbers around, it might unlock accidentally after a while, leaving you with no idea what code it set to unlock. This makes it unusable. I lost one of the 6 locks I bought this way (once it happened when I knew I had to be very careful and watch out for gluing when I installed the rest. The line you use need to align the numbers is not clear and the slightest misalignment will cause the lock to not work there is no clear click when you slide the numbers to help you align open them during my vacation I would not recommend it.
