I just received this bag, here are my first impressions. Pros: Material and stitching feel solid, clips and attachment points feel very solid. The bag lets virtually no air through when I squeeze it. I won't be able to test the waterproofing until there is more snow here in Colorado. I will be using this as a boat bag for kayak day trips. 30 liters is a lot! I will be comfortable with my partner using this on their surfboard. The side case is most likely not waterproof, but it is splash-proof. This is fine for wallet-sized essentials. I like the double straps. The handle is solid too. Not so good: Clips and swivels on the straps are plastic; I bet one will break one day. An empty bag doesn't stand on the floor; it is still a soft side bag. Verdict: At $20-25 this is a great value. Shoulder straps may not hold up; But this is a boat bag, not a backpack that I can customize. Will try to update this after I get the bag out on the water.
