Review on Norpro 5979 Instant Read Thermometer by Shay Badger
not sure about readings
bought in April after several uses it seems to show different temperatures each time. For example, this instant readout shows chicken at 140 but the oven thermometer reads 165, the next time it cooks it will read the same as the oven thermometer. Maybe I'm just worried about the different statements. for the price you can't complain
