This product fixed my very cracked screen. My Galaxy Tab A 8 landed face down on concrete from over 3 feet. Removing the old screen takes time. A word of caution - if your screen is badly cracked it would be a good idea to seal it with duct tape. If you pry it, a lot of small fragments and fragments of old glass will be scattered. It's also a good idea to wear protective glasses. The most difficult thing is to remove (get to work) the old screen and heat the edges. Be careful when disconnecting the thin shield cable from the connector. It's just a snap connection. Be very careful when leveling it before you push it to land. In my package was new double-sided tape. The tools provided aren't great, but they were enough to get the job done. Be sure to remove any small pieces of glass before installing the new screen. So far there have been no problems with the exchange. It took me about 30 minutes to get to work.
