This switch is a waste of money. I bought this a few years ago but recently started using it as I work from home more and it's just awful. It will randomly lose connection to the keyboard, resulting in having to toggle the switch back and forth 2-3 times an hour when I'm using the IDE and web browser for work, and once every few minutes when I'm gaming. I've tried various things to try to figure out what's causing this behavior (using a different keyboard, switching connections, using fewer connections, even shutting down a computer entirely) and came to the conclusion that it's just a poorly made product. I thought Tripp-Lite was a reliable brand as I've been buying their surge protectors for years with no complaints, but this KVM switch is pure junk.
