This is an ingenious device, light, compact, strong, efficient and easy to use, even behind the freewheel. Oh, and it's reusable! I do long-distance day trips from where I live and long-distance tours to remote regions, so I carry one of these in my basic toolbox and three more in my extended "tourist toolbox". That's better than having real spokes somewhere on the wheel that might be cut to the wrong length and can't be installed behind the hub without special tools, in my opinion. This product is excellent insurance against long miles of walking.
