This thing weighs less than a few coins, packs down to the size of your pinky, and can save you hours of work. I haven't used it, thank goodness! but I know of others who rave about it. It takes up minimal pocket space but is good insurance in the event of a spoke failure. I am a touring cyclist and losing a spoke can be frustrating and many modern road bikes can only have 14 spokes and one of them gets in the way and because it takes up so little space there really is no reason not to carry it around.
