Review on 🚿 Speakman SC-1220-AF Commander Vandal-Resistant Industrial Exposed Shower: Cross Handles & S-2252 Brass Shower Head in Polished Chrome by Tiffany Tucker

This shower was purchased to replace an old Pittsburgh shower that was in our basement. We started using the basement shower when we decided to remodel our master bathroom. The one in the basement hasn't been used for a long time and has rusted. I looked at a similar system at a home camp for about $60 but it had horrible reviews and after checking it out it was obvious that it was cheap and probably deserved the reviews it was getting. We got this from Amazon and when we received it we weren't disappointed with our choice. The shower neck is not only durable, but also covered with PVC pipe to prevent rust. The device itself feels heavy and the handles turn easily, controlling the flow of water with ease. A word of caution, our unit did not have a shower head, I re-read the description and don't know why it did not have a shower head, but we had another that fitted easily. The device can be configured so that the pipes are inserted from above or, conversely, from below. And it can be installed with 2 screws on the bottom of the device and a neck mount. It was easy to install and had no leaks once completed. It's a bit pricey, but in this case you get what you pay for and it's worth it for a basement or outdoor shower. Just note that the shower head may need to be purchased separately.
