I've used a range of 1100-2000MHz AA batteries for various lighting and decorations, but some decorations are a little awkward to change batteries, so I wanted to use batteries with a larger battery capacity so they didn't have to be changed as often . I bought a couple packs of 2850mah batteries to see how long they would last with 2 specific fall holiday string lights that are difficult to access and replace and I am pleased to report that these Batteries last more than 2 times longer than 1100mAh batteries. and about 50% longer than 2000 rated batteries. The charge time is 4 hours from discharge to full charge, which is good in exchange for the extra hours during the tests they provide. 5/5
