I bought this part for my BMPCC 4k shoulder rig and while it is a very reliable device that will do the job it was designed to do I highly recommend Spend the extra $40 and get a Quick Release Small Rig Quick Release device with rod slots. This particular plate requires you to use hex wrenches to unscrew the base of the plate, attach the camera with a screw that can and will loosen over time, and then reattach the base plate. with an Allen key. So it takes a whopping 5 minutes every time you want to remove a camera or tighten a pesky screw. Very cumbersome and annoying. If you don't leave your camera on and don't have a screw that will never come loose, just spend the extra $40 and save yourself a ton of time and hassle.
