I have a connective tissue disorder and various other issues that would benefit from some help with joint stabilization. While these leggings helped stabilize my pelvis and knees, the bandage around my stomach (just above my belly button) was so tight that I felt nauseous, achy, and bruised around my waist an hour or two after the workout would have. wear. I'm small 5ft 4" and 115lbs and although I'm petite I ordered a medium sized pair. Even then I still had bruises. I'm sending them back because I think ordering a size up will help relieve the pressure on my waist but doesn't provide the same level of joint support. I would not recommend them for people with sensitive skin or complex health issues. It's probably best to buy them if you're healthy and need them for marathons. I bought these because someone with my condition recommended them here. These leggings are definitely not suitable for people with EDS so be careful if they fit you.
