This grinder is great to use. Be prepared to repel water during use. I didn't get even one shock while using this, even standing in the water during use, with simple care to not get water inside the electrical portions of the grinder.Carving rough stone down to final grit is quite quick, and the lower grits really cut much quicker than i imagined. I am freehand polishing stone, but eventually will attempt to re-surface an old granite-slab tabletop.
