I love this volcano. It has a built-in air stone and comes with a tube for it. You need your own air pump. It also comes with a red light on the suction cup to penetrate the volcano and make the bubbles red. This is a USB based plug. It also comes with a USB port. You will need two different outlets to plug this in for it to work optimally. When you glue the lantern suction cup to the bottom of the tank, be sure to put some gravel around it to keep it from peeling off. I completely cleaned my tank to put this in so it's cloudy and muddy at the moment. When everything calms down I will add a video in action. Edit - added video! I don't prefer red lighting
