Review on Capresso Mini Drip Coffee Maker - 5-Cup, Black & Stainless Steel by Dana Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little 5 cup coffee maker

I love coffee and should drink at least 2 cups in the morning to start my day. My coffee maker broke so I've been looking for a good little coffee maker for a while. But the Hamilton Beach BrewStation makes really good coffee and could have kept it, but it was too big for one person and too tall to fit on my counter under the closets. After that I've tired of other coffee makers, other brands, and I have to say I've sent quite a few of them back to Revain because I just wasn't happy with the taste of the coffee. Then, honestly, as a last resort, I got sick of that Capresso coffee maker. And wow, I have to say, this Capresso is a nice little 5 cup coffee maker. It's easy to use and the coffee comes out hot with a smooth taste. However, I would recommend using paper filters instead of the wire mesh that comes with the kit. I simply find that paper filters give the coffee the best taste. The coffee machine maintains the coffee temperature for up to 2 hours. It's worth investing in a small coffee maker that will make a delicious cup of coffee. It's very quiet, the brew time is about average, it looks good, it's well made and the glass coffee seems to be of good quality (but as with any glass teapot, be careful when cleaning it). Money. In fact I have to say it's better than some of the more expensive so called coffee makers I've tried and if I had known about it I would have bought the Capresso as my FIRST coffee maker and not the last. Glad I tried it, good coffee maker, makes good coffee and worth the money.
