I'm testing the Fluke 87-V on faulty test circuits and the risk of tripping over an unobvious short is pretty high. I keep a few fuses in a Fluke case and have used them a few times, especially the low amperage ones. They work as they should - they burn out but no noticeable reaction - no smell, noise, charring, destruction etc. I burned two of these and they worked exactly as they should. I recommend everyone to carry a few low amp and a few high amp fuses. I keep mine in a small case with a 9V battery (ASIN: B07KCCCR4Y).
