These are highly absorbent pads that are ideal for heavily soiled kitchen floors. They collect a lot of dirt and dust. They don't seem to stick to the mop like the ones that come with it, but I solved this problem by dropping the pad on the floor, placing the mop head on the pad and pressing down. The only reason for four stars is that after three washes I noticed little threads were sticking out on the sides. I cut them off and will continue to use them. I would still recommend them to others.
