Beware! A common problem is that the firmware update fails and corrupts the entire device.
I bought this almost a year ago and use it regularly on my wife's race car. The latest firmware update has turned the OBDII dongle into a useless building block. Error code 3, command timed out etc. I'm using Android 9 and have followed the OBD-Link support forum instructions to perform a firmware restore and also cleared the phone's Bluetooth cache. The device is still bricked with the same problem. Many SCCA drivers use this key with the Track Addict app. I'm not very happy with the result and will pass the information on to other drivers.
