unreliable and bulky
The cable lacks the standard locking pins and will not snap into the connector. The plastic casing around the connector is also quite large, which can be a problem depending on the device. It barely fits in my PC graphics card and is extremely unreliable due to the lack of locating pins. In addition, the cable is very thick and bulky. While not a deal breaker per se, it's difficult to route in cable management ducts or monitor arms.
