I often use a desktop router. Routers can be annoying if you let your attention wander. The oversized STOP handle makes it easy and quick to stop work when needed. You can set it up to work with your foot or knee. After stopping, you must physically pull the stop switch before the START button will function. This is great for the router table as it allows you to swap out bits, change height and reset the fence without accidentally starting the router or shutting everything down to make sure it won't start. I am very happy with this purchase.
