"Higher" space in my fridge is often at a premium. I drink a lot of iced tea and I like it when it stays cold. Because this container is heat-resistant, I can brew tea right in it. If there is no space on high shelves after cooling, I can turn it on its side, on a short one. Because it's rectangular, it's also better suited for milk or juice bags. The spout is a little tricky, but you can take it apart for a thorough cleaning. The hole is wide enough for me to reach the bottom. If you tighten it all the way the handle will move off center but if you read the fine print you only need to tighten it until the arrows under the spout line up and then it will be centered and still not leaking. Please note that the jug is not covered with frost. I'm in Florida and this time of year anything cold will fog up immediately.
