Fantastic. Very loud. I left one on the front door without telling my wife until she got home. She entered, the door wouldn't open behind her, the alarm went off. Not only did it scare her, but I slept in a cave and it scared the hell out of me too! Fantastic door alarm that I don't think anyone should be without, even if you have an alarm. I travel a lot for work and having one of these by the door in my room is an added peace of mind. Inexpensive enough that you can provide for your family and even friends. Easy to use. Keep in mind that if you have it disabled, you will have to manually pick it up and turn it off.
