I couldn't remove the back cover from the original remote that came with my Roku 3. The battery died and I was going to replace it and I think the back cover is stuck with some kind of dirt or debris because I can't take it off (yet). So I bought this replacement. Beyution Remote: I put two AAA batteries in it. Buttons"Reset pairing" No. When first used, the buttons did nothing, but after pressing the buttons on the remote control, they suddenly began to perform their functions as in the original. Let's see how it goes. The device is very light and will probably break more easily than the original. So this inexpensive remote control works flawlessly!
