Review on Odi Grips Troy Lock Black by Michael Finnegan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Incredible in handlebars, headsets and stems

I replaced my original 2007 Specialized grips with these. The old ones were worn out and spinning, which wasn't optimistic. These new grips are amazing. Rubber is almost like glue. You can really feel your fingers sticking to it. The raised rubber tips are perfect for keeping hands centered on the handlebars. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS It would be nice if at least minimal instructions were included. It wasn't clear how they fit until I started watching YouTube videos. An L or R is stamped on the rubber end so you know which grip is on the left and which is on the right. All 4 metal clips are made SAME, so it doesn't matter which one is mounted where. This way you get a forward facing screw and a back facing screw on each handle. The Troy Lee Designs logo must face the FRONT of the motorcycle and be horizontal. Based on these findings, adjust the clamps so that the open ends of the clamps are down, under the handles. Insert the end caps into the outer clamp BEFORE sliding the grip onto the handlebar. This will ensure that you squeeze the handles far enough but not too far. They must also be installed before tightening the screw on the clamp. CheersJohn
