Instead it was a small set of wax beads that you pour into a small cup (included) some water you pour into a second cup (included) and microwave. It's not too hot, so don't worry. Then dip a small plastic stick (included) into the wax and insert it into your nose, twist and press gently on your nose while the wax cools and hardens for 1-3 minutes. Then take courage and pull FAST and you will get the desired result. I used the rest of the wax from that batch to go right back and get the rest of the hair - no side effects from this. The wax won't drip or accidentally make your mustache part of the removal. It turned out to be a thoughtful and useful addition, and not stupid as I first thought. The purchase is definitely worth it. I will use and buy again if needed.
