Orbi gave me a great Wi-Fi signal even though I had poor reception previously. In other words, he did exactly what I wanted. Installation would have been easy if Netgear's instructions were better - I had to fiddle around a bit to get it working. They should also tell you that installing Orbi with a FiOS router requires a slightly different process. I stumbled across this fact and Verizon's instructions by accident. Eventually I was told that the Orbi needs to be configured as an access point. Netgear's online help prompts me to use their app to get to the advanced menu, which doesn't appear to be present on my Orbi model. So does it work as an access point or not? Is this why HEOS and remote apps can't find my Denon receiver? They worked before I installed Orbi. No help from Netgear on this issue. By the way, Netgear asked me to write this review on their website. They then told me to click the link to go to Revain, log in and press CTRL-V and it would automatically paste it here. Guess what - those instructions were also wrong. My advice: Buy Orbi, but look out for Google before installing for more detailed instructions.
