A bit interesting wiring this switch with 8 gauge wire to connect my solar panels, shore batteries and generator. Switch to 1 and it will run from either a generator or shore power when connected to our bus conversion and if I switch it to 2 it will run the bus through our inverter, batteries and solar panels. There is an automatic switch that does both of those things but costs a lot more money and is delayed in shipping and patent pending. It will run on both L1 and L2 in our van which in the past and many campers has only run one or the other at 30 amps but one will run at 30 amps and the other at 20 amps. I don't think about what is plugged into which plug etc. Everything works in Brodok, except AC. If you don't have a spit device, it will work if you have enough battery power and a big enough inverter.
