Ideal for shore/battery switches!

Great switch, good price and works great for my application. The switch configuration offers many ways to wire this up and get many switch combinations. I used to convert my RV from batteries and solar to shore AC. It is able to handle large currents and switch all branches (positive and negative). Warning: The switch is designed to be installed on a thin surface (maximum 1/8 inch). To install it on a 7/8" thick bulkhead in my RV I had to make a shaft extension that could be attached to the…

L1 and L2 Switch Manual

A bit interesting wiring this switch with 8 gauge wire to connect my solar panels, shore batteries and generator. Switch to 1 and it will run from either a generator or shore power when connected to our bus conversion and if I switch it to 2 it will run the bus through our inverter, batteries and solar panels. I like this switch, the parts and assembly are solid and reliable. The contactors are designed for the load. BUT. I removed the handle and bezels to install on my project door and the handle's key began to slip and one of the lock washers slipped off center. I moved the key back a little to set it, and just like that, "snakes in a jar" flew around the room in all directions with about 15 springs, contactors, and bits of metal. It was so shocking and hilarious that I didn't even get angry. I…
