A bit interesting wiring this switch with 8 gauge wire to connect my solar panels, shore batteries and generator. Switch to 1 and it will run from either a generator or shore power when connected to our bus conversion and if I switch it to 2 it will run the bus through our inverter, batteries and solar panels. I like this switch, the parts and assembly are solid and reliable. The contactors are designed for the load. BUT. I removed the handle and bezels to install on my project door and the handle's key began to slip and one of the lock washers slipped off center. I moved the key back a little to set it, and just like that, "snakes in a jar" flew around the room in all directions with about 15 springs, contactors, and bits of metal.
