Review on 🚰 J.C. Whitlam FLOW32 Flow-Aide System Descaler - 32oz (1qt), White by Josh Payton

The original descaler I bought last winter worked very well. I noticed the instant water flow increased after flushing my Rinnai water heater. I tried using vinegar after the first rinse but it didn't work as well as the descaler mentioned above. I used about 1.5 gallons of vinegar. Today I tried to use a freshly bought descaler. I added 8 ounces to 1 gallon of water, the liquid barely covered the pump so I added another 1 gallon of water + 8 ounces of descaler. The pump has been running for 2 hours. I checked between them again and the second time I found the black mud mentioned in another review. I figured maybe I didn't do anything wrong, so today I made it a second time using 1 gallon of water + 8 ounces of descaler. I ran it for 1 hour and saw black mud again. I am disappointed in this product. And I don't want to spend another $150 to buy another descaling kit. Well next time I'll try adding 3 gallons or maybe 5 gallons of vinegar like I saw in another review and see if it works.
