Review on iHome iP23GVC Dual Alarm iPhone/iPod Gunmetal: Sleek and Functional Alarm Dock by Walter Velasquez

Simple, it could be better.

First of all, this certainly works with the iPhone 4S. My biggest complaint about what others have already discussed is that you can only wake up to music from your phone/module in the device. It's just stupid. Another problem I ran into is that you should be able to choose which song/playlist/album etc. is used for the alarm. It simply uses what you last listened to as music. That can also be annoying, because the music I listen to in the car on the way home is often not the music I want to wake up to in the morning. So I have to remember to change the active music to something good for waking up. I'm seriously considering making a playlist of "music" which is really just a collection of alarm tones to wake me up. Sound"Buzzer".

Pros
  • The snooze/dimmer bar adjusts the brightness of the clock face
Cons
  • Almost never
