Review on G-STORY Portable Monitor FreeSync Computer Nintendo 17.3" 1920X1080P 165Hz Ultrawide Screen - USB Hub, Tilt Adjustment, Glossy Screen - GST173 by Jared Harris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Low input lag, true 144Hz

I tested this on my Nitro5 laptop with only 60hz screen. The laptop is great, but the screen isn't the best for competitive gaming. So I wanted a screen that I could take with me to play on the go. It needed 2 plugs to connect it to the laptop as one is for HDMI and the other is for power. I had no problem running this using a USB-C port to power my laptop with HDMI connected to the GPU. I didn't see any ghosting that I could identify and the colors were pretty good and the screen is surprisingly bright. I played better on this monitor than my Nitro 5; mainly due to the better refresh rate and brightness. Overall I am very happy with this monitor. It's not too heavy and installs in minutes, making it easy for me to play when I'm on the go! A really great upgrade for those of us who don't already have high refresh rate laptops! The name of the screen itself made me think for a second that it has G-Sync, but it doesn't have G-Sync support.
