Good. The edge that meets the meat is smooth and won't irritate you. Poorly. If you buy this and think it won't leak, DO NOT BUY IT unless you want it to leak through the lid. There is a slight bulge from the pouring process in two places on the edge, which leaks when the lid is fully and correctly closed. I bought two of these and as this is of course the result of a manufacturing process both leak, this is not an isolated case. So it works well if you fill and pour instead of storing it. If you are filling and storing for later pouring, look elsewhere or make sure it always stands upright (fill, set/store and pour).
