💦 Convenient Carex Portable Urinal for Men: Durable Plastic Design Review

This urinal is VERY durable and the quality is excellent! It beats the cheaper ones and is a great deal! It works as advertised and is not intrusive like other urinals. Very easy to clean! I love that the handle is SEALED - unlike other urinals.

This thing is as strong as it gets, it won't make you pee in a pen and if you accidentally jump, it will not crumble like paper

Pros: Thick plastic. Doesn't run under control. It has a rounded edge with no sharp or rough spots. Cons: The edge of the lid is too flat for a rounded edge. Difficult to put on with one hand. Closes tight, but I wouldn't trust him if he falls over. Slightly wobbly when empty (middle "weld" sticks out).

Exactly what I was looking for at a low price. Unfortunately, after a few months of use, I had to realize that the lid only seemed to close properly. It actually flows. This problem did not affect one container, but all three that I bought.

Bought these for my disabled husband as previous purchases of this brand did not fall off when empty and it was easy for him to open/close the flip top and did not fall off. However, the lid has changed since the last purchase, making the urinal much more difficult to open and much more difficult to close securely. I will not buy again.

I got this for a relative who is temporarily disabled but unfortunately he was unable to use it. The hat was just too difficult to put on and take off. I will say that this urinal is far superior to the ones he uses in a hospital in terms of construction. Although he hasn't used this yet, just holding it in your hands can tell that it's made of much better material, thickness, and strength. The lid just needs to be easier to snap on and off, and that's where the design of this item was lacking.

Very disappointed. I've been using these from Carex for years after receiving some of the hospitalizations. Thank goodness I checked them out before I threw away my last "good one". To make it airtight they made it impossible to remove and reattach the cover. Of course I eventually took the damn thing off and put it back on, but not before flipping it over and even unbuckling it (hitting the floor a couple of times). Good. The edge that meets the meat is smooth and won't irritate you. Poorly. If you buy this and think it won't leak, DO NOT BUY IT unless you want it to leak through the lid. There is a slight bulge from the pouring process in two places on the edge, which leaks when the lid is fully and correctly closed.
