I used these to replace failed OEM shocks on a 2003 Pathfinder. They offer the perfect balance of stiffness and flex for road riding where the biggest obstacle is a speed bump or pothole. Installation was definitely easy and required no lifting at all. Just park on a level surface and set the parking brake (and lock your wheels, just in case). Unscrew the bad dampers (the springs meanwhile keep the truck "up") and attach the bottom screw first. The shock absorbers are "wrapped" in a plastic tape that keeps them from stretching. After putting the first bolt on, cut it off and it will slowly expand upwards. Use this time to insert and insert the bolt from above. Tighten everything with a torque wrench and move it to the other side. It takes just over an hour from start to finish.
