I purchased these lights to lower the amount of heat the original lights were generating, and reduce my overall power consumption. These did the trick! Recently my family was on a grand adventure from the east coast to the west coast. Our plan was to boondock as much as possible, so I looked for ways to reduce our overall power consumption. I didn't want to replace the physical lights in the travel trailer with led lights, since some reviews mentioned that some led light kits didn't always cover up the footprint of the lights being replaced. I "took a chance" and got these and WOW I'm glad I did. They are very bright. They don't flicker (which was a major concern of mine), and I've seen no impact on TV reception in my particular rig. This was a quick easy way for me to update my rig to led - no fuss.
