Review on Honeywell SV9501M8129 Smartvalve Gas Valve by William Turner

Installed on a Tempstar Oven when no light indicates an igniter or gas valve. Every test and every component was fine. The stove still wouldn't turn on. I decided not to throw away good money for bad money and swapped out the stove. The new gas valve could very well be defective, but now the issue is moot. I'm assuming it's non-returnable, so it'll be gracing the landfill for now. The Tempstar is an inexpensive oven, but it should work with all new parts. I recommend that if the stove won't light, try a new igniter. If that doesn't work, break the stove. You will lose less than $100
