enough distilled water to make my husband's CPAP! I don't know why there was a distilled water distillation, but it forced us to find a solution to make our own. It now takes about 4 hours to distill a gallon, but no more running around in a panic. Not the quietest machine but easy to set up, easy to clean and easy to store under the sink in our bathroom. We don't drink this water, so none of us can comment on its taste. And I think in a year it will pay for itself, both from the fact that you don't have to pay for a bottle of distilled water, and from the gas and time to look for it in stores. If you use water for CPAP, be sure to get this home distiller!
