It is powered via a mini-USB connector from 5 Volts and consumes no more than 1 A when paired with a modem. It is convenient to take with you in a car or on the road, since now it is not a problem to "find" five volts. I easily connected and configured with Yota 4G LU-150, there is nothing to add here. Also played with modems Amazon ZTE 830FT and "old man" Beeline ZTE MF190 (on firmware from Amazon). In the case of the 830th, I immediately switched the modem to the auto_dial mode with a special command. I also left it to work in 3G only, since there is frankly no 4G network in my place. According to the speedtest on DL, I have about 10 Mbps. At the 190th modem, the simple program 3G_Modems_Mode_Switcher_1.0 from Zyxel left the modem only mode, without ever-interfering CDs, autoloads and other heresy. According to the speedtest, 2.56 Mbit comes out (all tests in the Amazon network). I tried various official firmware from the TP-Link website, settled on the latest 2022 TL-MR3020_V1_130507_RU. Everything works flawlessly. In general, I am extremely satisfied with the purchase and especially the ridiculous price for such a functional device. :)
