I bought the radio in June, unfortunately I was only able to install it last week, installation was easy. The radio does not transmit more than a few meters if it wants, the antenna is adjusted, the problem is that when I press the microphone the display goes blank and then stops working. I have to turn off the radio to turn the display back on. I don't see an option to return the product, probably because I've waited so long for it to be installed. I am a licensed radio amateur and know my radios. I just didn't want to put a big radio in my Jeep for running the trails. I have other larger radios of this brand so I decided to buying this instead of a Cobra. Now I have to spend more money to get it right. does not come with an SWR meter, you need an external one that matches your antenna. I don't think I can recommend it as I couldn't solve this problem.
