I use these drill bits to drill a 10mm hole in the bottom of a wine bottle. I first use a 3mm bit to make the starting hole and then open up the 3mm to 10mm. I've drilled over 30 bottles with no problems. Remember to use LOTS of water! I use a bucket of water with a small fountain pump to fill the drill while I'm drilling. The key to success is club and glass cooling.
