I bought this to replace the plastic sink in our caravan. It looks very nice. My husband had to make small adjustments to make it fit; mainly to accommodate an overflow that was not present in the previous sink. I first bought a satin nickel faucet and base but didn't like it. I think shiny chrome goes much better with it. Although we weighed the sink according to the instructions, it didn't sit entirely flush on the countertop; The gap was small enough to fill with silicone. In general, you have to show some complaisance to install it yourself. I can't tell you how durable it is because we haven't used the camper since installing it.
