Before buying this one I bought a cheaper rug and wasn't happy with how light the first one was. This was for a tiled entrance and it slid so easily and wasn't slip resistant at all. Then I went back and bought this rug and I was very happy with the results. This is the weight you would expect from a commercial floor mat for public buildings. It stays in place and has those deep grooves all over the fabric and around the edge which is a raised rubber dam that catches water and dirt. I can vacuum over it easily without worrying about the edges catching in the whisk. This mat was worth the extra cost to get something that works properly and lasts a long time.
