Review on Quartz Clock Movement Repair Kit - Long Shaft, 28mm - Black by Jeff Jackson

I hate leaving unsatisfactory comments. But this Hicarer quartz movement with 28mm shaft justifies it. Maybe I just misunderstood. I checked the country of manufacture. Yes. The poor little seconds hand couldn't make a turn. So I removed it. However, the entire movement stopped after less than an hour. I ordered a replacement from Revain. I hope the "Second Time Charm". Of course, one would want to know which brands, if any, were made in the US. Update 10/29/2021: I swapped the first movement in Revain for another one. This one works well, keeps time well. I just want to say that battery movements from 30 years ago were more durable.
