Beautiful coat, such soft material!
We first bought a size 7-8 for our 6 year old. He wears a size 6-7 shirt and has a slim/average build. Because of the sport, he is a bit wider in the chest and the size 7-8 fits his chest very well. Returned it for a size 9-10 with enough room in the chest for a sweater and long enough to sit on. Kiddo is 4 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 63 pounds.
