I purchased these speaker covers because after my husband installed the Sonos outdoors, we knew we needed to protect them from the various weather conditions that could occur during the day. Keeping it dry and dust-free will extend the life of the speakers, and this item does the job just fine. The only reason I can't give it the full 5 stars is because 1) the speaker size is large and I think it would be better to make more custom sized speakers. 2) The material seems a little "thin" to protect from the heat, but in the summer I'll see how they hold up and update this review. However, since this is one of the few options I've found, I have a feeling I'd buy it again.
