This is a typical cat/small dog cone. Most likely, this will be enough for your pet's short-term or occasional needs. Peel off stickers as they will become unsightly. The velcro stays on and the cone won't loosen or come loose when the cat goes through hard-to-reach places like under baby gates. My cat has health issues and needs to be in a cone 24/7. Her last cone lasted several years. I received these in mid-March and noticed tonight that the soft part protecting the animal's neck has worn out and is therefore rubbing the hard plastic against the neck. I would still recommend it for short-term use.
