Many thanks to this company Samsung and Apple for changing the shape of the plugs in their products that compelled us to purchase this adapter. There were four devices in the package, which I initially thought was excessive, but I keep one connected to my computer (to transfer photos from my phone); and one in a portable charger I've had for a number of years (to allow the phone and iPad to connect via a standard USB port). I gave the other one to my daughter. Just under 10 US dollars for four devices is a very good value.
