Great way to aerate an outhouse
This AAV just works. We had a problem with the drain hole after the renovation and every time the toilet was flushed the P-trap on a different fixture was cleared. I've added various AAVs throughout the house which has made the problem worse. Be sure to visit the Oatey website to find out how much DFU you need from your AAV. (it's okay to have more than you need).
