During the pandemic, she has struggled to hear the congregational meetings on a large scale, for which she uses an iPad; because hey, she's 87 years old and those regular Apple earbuds aren't meant for hearing aids. We sent her these headphones and a charging port adapter for her iPhone so she can also use them with her phone and not just her iPad because we thought they would help her hear phone or real-time conversations. But then she realized that with the jw library app and an adapter, she could listen to Bible audio on her phone, and that made her very happy! She carries her cell phone in her pocket and listens to the scriptures with all her heart, and that has had a huge impact on her. These things are really having a huge impact on the happiness of our elderly loved ones and their ability to cope with isolation when family has not been able to visit them in person due to Covid. She loves them very much and has thanked me countless times for sending them.
