I used this tool to save the grips of a new set of clubs I bought on Ebay that needed to be made longer. The clubs have Golf Pride MCC Plus 4 ALIGN grips and I didn't want to spend an extra $18 on new ones. when they were practically new. The tool works as advertised. Just slide it under the handle after placing the club in a vise on the table, tilt it down slightly and squirt some mineral spirits into the gap between the tool and the shank, push the tool down and go around around the shaft while continuing to push down. to the butt. The first took a minute but once I felt it the rest was done in 10-15 seconds per stick once properly positioned in the vise. Agree with others that the cost is a bit high but one use makes up for the cost. Conclusion: The tool works as advertised, even on cable handles.
